Sergeant Sawyer Flint is a last-minute replacement to lead a team of savvy detectives on the Colossus. He has only days to recruit his team and get everything in order before reporting to the Colony Ship.
On the upper decks will be some of the wealthiest people from planet Earth. Some are famous, others infamous. They will live in close quarters with experts and specialists from a variety of practical fields that are needed to help build a colony from scratch. The lower decks are packed tight with people from every nation on planet Earth. Chosen by a worldwide lottery, they are desperate to escape to a new world full of opportunity and promise. And while every passenger was supposed to be vetted, some have gamed the system in their favor and have little regard for rules of any kind. They will all be under the jurisdiction of the Special Investigation Unit. Part SWAT team, part Intelligence squad, the SIU will be tasked with solving crimes on the massive spaceship where there are a million places to hide, but no escape.
