Then a body is found at Lochranza Castle on the Isle of Arran. Somehow the killer has placed a boat inside the castle and the body inside the boat, in a way that suggests ritual.
The victim is a member of an eco encampment a mile away, a group with secrets and tensions brewing. But the team aren’t sure if his killer is another member of the group, or a disgruntled local.
How will Mo cope with being sent up to Arran to investigate? Will the remoteness finally send him into the grip of despair? Or will it allow him to discover a love of Scotland?
And can he and Petra solve the crime before the killer strikes again?
